Errors Turning on Exposure Notifications on iPhone

If you are unable to turn on Exposure Notifications on iPhone, it may be due to a few different reasons.

There are two possible options to resolve the issue.

Option 1

1. Go to Settings > Exposure Notifications
2. Select "Arizona Department of Health Services" or "Bermuda" as the Active Region

Option 2

If option 1 doesn't work, you can try this instead. Note: this will result in losing last 14 days of exposure data.

1. Go to Settings > Exposure Notifications
2. Tap "Turn of Exposure Notifications"
3. Tap "Turn off and delete data"
4. Now return to the app and try turning on Exposure Notifications again.
